Launch of the "ONLINE PLATFORM OF GOOD PRACTICES FOR ROMA"
The National Contact Point for Roma, within Ministry of European Funds A launched the online communication platform pncr.fonduri-ue.ro, created within the project "National Platform of Good Practices for Roma"- implemented with the support of the European Commission - Directorate General Justice and Consumers through the grant JUST/2015/RDIS/AG/NRP2/8727.
The context that determined the creation of the online communication platform is the low level of communication and collaboration between public authorities, NGOs, Roma communities and members of the Roma community.
The general objective of the platform is to contribute to the improvement, coherence and efficiency of the implementation of public policies at the national level, in order to facilitate the process of inclusion of Romanian citizens of Roma ethnicity. The Common Core Principles for Roma Inclusion, developed within the work of the online communication platform and inspired by the experiences of successful Roma inclusion initiatives, will provide a practical framework for the design and implementation of successful initiatives.
The specific objectives of the platform pncr.fonduri-ue.ro are:
- Removing communication barriers between members of Roma communities, NGOs and local, regional and national authorities;
- Gathering of all interested persons the inclusion process of Romanian citizens belonging to the Roma minority at the national, regional and local level;
- Facilitating communication and cooperation between the actors involved in the project: national, regional and local authorities, NGOs and members of the Roma community regarding the results of the implementation of the Romanian Government Strategy for the Inclusion of Romanian Citizens belonging to the Roma Minority 2015-2020;
- Ensuring the exchange of best practices and experiences as well as encouraging cooperation and communication among participants in order to develop new ideas with common approaches.
