linkThe RO-CULTURE program is financed by the EEA Grants 2014-2021 and has the general objective of strengthening economic and social development through cultural cooperation, cultural entrepreneurship and cultural heritage management.

This call for projects is exclusively addressed to projects aimed at supporting cultural initiatives about the Roma minority. The selected projects will contribute to the training (empowerment) to people of Roma ethnicity and to the consolidation of their cultural identity (language, customs, heritage, etc.) through contemporary cultural initiatives that promote/value Roma culture. These may include the promotion of Roma culture in contemporary art and culture, as well as raising awareness and improving the reception of Roma culture in society.

In order for cultural initiatives about the Roma minority to have a greater impact, cultural cooperation and cultural exchange between organizations in Romania and those in donor states are encouraged.
