Between October 11 and 13, 2023, Mrs. Elena Iordănescu, Head of Office - National Contact Point for Roma, participated in the Conference Rome Environmental Justice, within the panel "What are the EU and Member States doing to ensure environmental justice?" The conference aimed to be a starting point in addressing environmental racism against Roma in EU member states and acceding countries as a priority political concern within national Roma strategies and policies, as well as specific national measures on environment, housing, health, employment, social protection and education policies.
