″In the EU strategic framework for Roma, adopted in 2020, accountability, cooperation and trust are pillars for achieving equality, inclusion and participation of Roma, at the EU level and in the Member States. Cooperation can only be achieved by co-sliding the access and inclusion ensured within the national platforms for Roma. I am convinced that the National Platform of the Roma in Romania can fulfill this promise. It is extremely important that the National Platform of Roma in Romania provides enough space for the gender dimension. The involvement of Roma women in the decision-making process is an indisputable indicator of success. I welcome the launch of the interactive map of marginalized Roma communities and the report on the communities visited. As Equality Commissioner, I am determined to promote equality, inclusion and participation of Roma. We must all contribute and work together to fulfill our promise to improve the lives of the EU's largest ethnic minority", underlined the European Commissioner for Equality, Her Excellency Mrs. Helena Dalli in the message addressed to the participants of the closing conference of the "ROM Platform" project implemented by the Ministry of Investments and European Projects through the National Contact Point for Roma (PNCR) within the European and International Cooperation Directorate .
